Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Therapeutic Massage - 90 min.

During a 90-minute Therapeutic Massage you’ll start with a brief intake, then receive focused deep tissue and recovery work across prioritized areas. Therapists adjust pressure to your comfort, integrate relaxation methods, and provide aftercare guidance.

Because of the extra time, the 90-minute session allows deeper work across multiple areas, fuller nervous system relaxation, and more comprehensive treatment planning. This often yields more sustained relief and better long-term recovery outcomes.

If you have an acute injury, disclose it during intake. Our therapists will assess severity, modify techniques, or recommend medical clearance. When appropriate, we use gentler or targeted approaches to support safe recovery.

Arrive hydrated, avoid heavy meals beforehand, and wear comfortable clothing. Complete the intake form and be ready to share medical history and current concerns. Arriving a few minutes early allows time for consultation.

Light soreness for 24–48 hours is common after deep work. Drink water, rest, and apply heat or ice as recommended. If pain is severe, worsening, or includes numbness, contact us for evaluation and guidance.

Frequency depends on goals: weekly sessions for acute issues or heavy training, biweekly for recovery, and monthly for maintenance. Your therapist will recommend a personalized schedule based on progress and lifestyle.
